Nach wie vor ist das Interesse ungebrochen hoch an dieser Präsentation, die in ihrem historischen Teil auf Mädchenalltag in den vergangenen sechs Jahrhunderten blendet. Auch die begleitenden Veranstaltungen fanden überaus großes Interesse. So verzeichnete allein die junge Volkshochschule bei ihren "Mädchen"-Angeboten über 300 Teilnehmerinnen.
Bei dem informativen und unterhaltsamen Rundgang am Sonntag wird Anke Gollub, Museumspädagogin im Stadtmuseum, berichten, wie Mädchen in Münster früher lebten, welche Schul- und Berufschancen sie hatten und welche Kleidung zu unterschiedlichen Zeiten angesagt war.
Eigens zur Ausstellung hat das Stadtmuseum einen Kaffeebecher mit dem Motiv "Mädchen in Münster" herstellen lassen. Er ist im Museumsshop erhältlich. Ein Euro aus dem Verkauf fließt in die Restaurierung eine Mädchenkleides, das zu einem Ball um 1907 getragen wurde und in der Ausstellung dekoriert ist.
