Münster (SMS) Das „Schaufenster Stadtgeschichte“ erinnert: Nach einem zweijährigen Prozess mit 180 Verhandlungstagen verurteilte das Landgericht Münster Hans Krüger (obere Reihe, links der Tür) im so genannten Stanislau-Prozess Anfang Mai 1968 zu einer lebenslangen Freiheitsstrafe. Der seit dem Kriegsende in Lüdinghausen lebende Krüger soll als Leiter der Sicherheitspolizei im ostgalizischen Stanislau (heute Ukraine) für nahezu 25 000 Morde, verübt zwischen August 1941 und Frühsommer 1942, verantwortlich gewesen sein und auch persönlich gemordet haben. Während des Prozesses, in dem zwei weitere Hauptangeklagte zu lebenslangen Haftstrafen verurteilt wurden, war Krüger immer wieder durch antisemitische Ausfälle und menschenverachtende Äußerungen aufgefallen. - Die Fotografie kann im Großformat ab dem 7.
